1 Introduction

A software license (or software licence in commonwealth usage) is a legal instrument governing the usage or redistribution of copyright protected software. All software not in the Public domain is copyright protected. A typical software license grants an end-user permission to use one or more copies of software in ways where such a use would otherwise constitute infringement of the software publisher's exclusive rights under copyright law.

1 Introduction

This document I will introduce the guideline of a good ItemBOM.

2 Guideline of ItemBOM

A good ItemBOM can help us to manage projects well. It should be that any one see the ItemBOM can know the main process or functions of the project and all the required sources. It at least requires three parts:

• Item
  It requires that:
  1. Include all the required items;
  2. Include the information of item, such as item version, language, language version, supplier, supplierURL, repository, license type;
